Tenielle has experience working in the community legal sector, project management and empirical legal research. She has worked on research related to community perception and understanding of law, civil justice system data, and legal needs.
She contributed to Victoria Law Foundation’s foundational projects and reports Law… What is it Good For?, the Mapping Justice series and the ground-breaking Public Understanding of Law Survey, and has research on the accessibility of courts and lawyers published in the Journal for Empirical Legal Studies.
Tenielle also played a central role in developing the research function at Victoria Law Foundation and led the Research Network stream of work. This involved connecting the justice, community and academic sectors to enable knowledge sharing and collaboration among those working on legal research and evaluation related to access to justice issues.
