Professional misconduct under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Vic)

Penalty

1 The respondent Andrew Patrick Green is reprimanded. 2 Before applying for a practising certificate the respondent must undertake and complete four hours of professional development in the area of ethics and professional responsibility (Education) which is in addition to any VCAT Reference No. J59/2024 requirements under the Legal Profession Uniform Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors) Rules 2015. 3 When the respondent next applies for a practising certificate he must provide a copy of these orders and evidence of completion of the Education to the Victorian Legal Services Board. 4 The respondent must pay the applicants costs of the proceeding fixed in the sum of $7000 payable as follows: (a) by 30 April 2025 an initial instalment of $1500; and (b) monthly instalments payable on the first business day of each month of at least $500 until the balance is paid.
