This video explains to lawyers and barristers' clerks how to use LSB Online to complete Part A of the end of trust year report.

Use this guide to help you complete Part A of the End of Trust Year reporting.
From the homepage of our website, you can access LSB Online via the blue button in the top right or under the ‘For Lawyers’ quick links.
Click the green Log In button to sign in and access the home screen.
On the home screen, select ‘End of Trust Examination Year’.
Click the arrow to the right of the field with your practice details to view the drop down menu.
Here you will see the reporting requirements for the End of Trust Year.
You will need to complete ‘Part A: Confirmation’ before you are able to access ‘Part B Statement of Trust Money’. If you did not receive any trust money, you still need to complete Part A to let us know.
Click the ‘Create’ button to complete Part A.
In the first section, check that your address for your practice is correct.
You can confirm/add any other names which the Law Practice or Approved Barristers’ Clerk conducted business in Victoria. You also need to confirm any other offices where the Law Practice/Approved Barristers’ Clerk also conducted business in Victoria.
You can add to these fields by clicking the ‘Add’ button.
Check that the business structure displayed is correct.
You will now need to answer a series of questions relating to trust money you have received or held. There are seven questions to answer ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
Your answers to the first four questions will determine what appears in Part B: Statement of Trust Money.
Please note if you save and return back to Part A or Part B at anytime to make changes and allow you to submit, ensure you select the edit button.
Once you have answered the questions, be sure to click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page.
